First time purchasing Swannies apparel. My wife ordered me a Camden & Ivy hoodie for Christmas. I ordered it on a Monday & it didn’t even ship out until Friday.
I noticed that it said polyester blends are athletic fit. I wear a large in Footjoy outerwear, but I usually wear an XL in athletic fit apparel. So I ordered an XL. I received it today, when I opened it, I could totally tell that it was very well made apparel. I was excited to try it on, just to be let down. I’m 5’10, the Camden literally came down to just above my knees. The Ivy was a little better, but still longer than what your normal hoodies are. The disappointing thing is, now I have to exchange them, not knowing if the large will be any better. I have the time it takes to ship back, then who knows how long it will take to send my new order out, so I probably won’t have the replacements before Christmas. Plus, my mother-in-law ordered me the Vandyke in a large before I read that they were athletic fit. So, it’s looking like a Christmas full of exchanging or returning. I was really hoping that I had a good experience with this brand, because I like several outerwear pieces.
